Same address with Security in the subject line. Include enough detail to reproduce, and give us a chance to fix it before disclosing.

Privacy & deletion

Use the data deletion request page, or email with Data deletion in the subject.

Before you write in

  • Setup problems are usually covered in the almanac, particularly the troubleshooting table at the bottom.
  • Growers: For growers covers what connecting does, the Instagram tester-invite quirk, and how to revoke access.
  • If an invite link no longer works, ask whoever sent it for a fresh one — links are personal and expire.

The Clip Farm is built and maintained by a small team alongside running live campaigns, so support is deliberately scoped: real answers, not a same-hour SLA.

Reporting a bug

The more of this you can include, the faster it gets fixed:

  • App version, shown in the sidebar
  • Which platform the affected account is on
  • What you expected, and what happened instead
  • Whether it survives a full quit and relaunch — not just a window reload
  • A screenshot, with any figures you would rather not share blurred out

Please do not include access tokens, client secrets or claim keys in a bug report. Nothing we need to diagnose a problem requires them, and email is not a safe place to put one.

Known limitations

Stated up front so nobody has to discover them by writing in:

  • Growth history starts when you do. Platform APIs return no history, so trends only exist from the first refresh onwards. A dated TikTok Studio export can backfill some of it.
  • Retention and audience data is TikTok only, and only via a Studio CSV export. No API on either platform exposes it.
  • Instagram requires a Business or Creator account. Personal accounts cannot connect — Meta's restriction.
  • Measurement resolution follows refresh cadence. A field refreshed weekly produces a coarse day-by-day replay.
  • The operator tool is desktop only, currently macOS. Growers need nothing installed.
  • No payment rail. The Clip Farm calculates and exports; paying happens wherever you already pay people.

What we cannot help with

  • Payment disputes. Rates, budgets and terms are an agreement between operator and grower. We can explain how a figure was calculated; we cannot decide who is right.
  • Platform account issues. Bans, appeals, reach problems and login trouble are matters for TikTok or Instagram support — The Clip Farm has read-only access and no influence over any of them.
  • Recovering data from a machine you no longer have. There is no cloud backup by design. Take a JSON backup from Settings → Data before migrating machines.
