The farm

Every building on the property.

The desktop app has five areas: the yard you land in, your fields, your growers, the readings, and the settings that govern all of it.

The yard — Overview

Money on the left, momentum on the right.

Owed right now

Live total across every running field, with budget burn, remaining balance, effective CPM, paid yield and any over-fence overflow. Click through to whichever field is driving it.

Combined momentum

Total yield across every connected account with a real delta against the previous snapshot, a sparkline, and follower change. Accounts refreshed on different days are carried forward so the combined line never dips artificially.

Top clips rail

Thumbnail cards for the best-performing clips across all accounts and platforms, ranked, each opening its own detail view.

Account leaderboard

Every connected account ranked by yield, with avatar, platform tag, clip count and one-click drill-down.

The fields — Campaigns

A field is a budget, a date window, a set of rules, and a ledger.

Five ways to pay a grower

ModelHow it paysControls
Pay per view (CPM)A rate per thousand campaign-window views across all qualifying clips.CPM rate, per-clip cap, max clips per grower, follower gate
Per-clip views (CPM)Same rate, but each clip qualifies on its own merits.Minimum views per clip, maximum counted, duration limits, follower gate
Flat rate per clipA fixed amount for every clip that clears the bar.Rate, max clips per grower, clip eligibility gate, follower gate
BountiesA reward for hitting a threshold — each, first, or most.Unlimited bounties per field, views or likes thresholds
Top-clips leaderboardA prize list paid out by rank. One prize per paid rank

The fence holds. The engine computes a theoretical amount per clip, then allocates the budget pool in priority order until it is spent. Clips that do not fit earn nothing, and the shortfall surfaces explicitly as a "would-be" figure on the KPI row, the grower table and the CSV — so you can see exactly what a top-up would buy.

Rules as a brief

Field settings auto-render into grouped rule cards — account requirements, content requirements, payout requirements. What the grower reads is literally what the engine enforces.

Pace post

The burn bar carries a marker showing where the calendar sits. Spend to the right of the post means you are burning faster than the season, with an at-a-glance verdict: on pace, ahead, or behind.

Pause and resume

Pausing freezes each clip’s view count so a payout period can be settled cleanly without figures drifting mid-reconciliation.

Top up

Add to a budget mid-season and the fence moves immediately; previously unpaid overflow becomes payable.

Replay the season

The time-series engine replays a field day by day from stored snapshots, using the same gates and formulas as the live calculation.

Clips ledger

Every clip: thumbnail, grower, window yield versus lifetime, engagement rate, payout, and a paid / partial / unpaid status.

The growers

Self-serve onboarding

Generate a personal invite link and a pre-written message. The grower authorises on their own device; status moves Pending → Joined automatically. The account that authorised is checked against the handle invited, and a mismatch is flagged rather than silently accepted.

Grower records

Name, payout method and handle, mapped to one or more connected accounts, so someone working across TikTok and Instagram is paid as one person.

Per-account cards

Avatar, platform tag, yield sparkline, delta against the previous snapshot, likes, platform-correct media count, engagement rate, last refresh and snapshot count — with a per-card refresh button.

Payout runs

A CSV per field: who is owed what, from which clips, including the uncapped figure where the fence bit.

The readings — Posts and analytics

Per-post table

Sortable and searchable across views, likes, comments, shares, engagement rate and date, with platform-correct columns — reach and saves for Instagram, average watch time and completion for TikTok.

Growth

Trend lines built from stored snapshots. Platforms return only current numbers, so this history exists precisely because the app saves one on every refresh.

Retention and audience

Retention curves, watch time, completion and audience demographics, imported from a TikTok Studio CSV export — data no API exposes. Hidden automatically for Instagram, where it does not exist.

Settings

Connections

Platform credentials and the invite relay, encrypted at rest with a connection test.

Automation

Background refresh every 2, 6, 12 or 24 hours. Snapshot frequency is what campaign-window yield is computed from, so this is an accuracy setting, not a convenience one.

Defaults

Currency, default CPM, max payout per clip and attribution mode, seeded into every new field.

Data

Export every clip to CSV, take a full JSON backup, see per-account disk usage, and clear an account’s history behind a confirmation that spells out the payout consequences.

Exports never contain credentials. Preferences are stored separately from API secrets, and the export path is regression-tested to assert that no token or client secret can appear in a backup file.
