What is The Clip Farm, in one sentence?
A desktop application that measures how creator-made clips perform on TikTok and Instagram, and works out what each creator earned under a campaign’s agreed rules.
Who is it for?
Whoever runs a clip campaign — a games marketing team, a UGC agency, a creator managing a clipper network. Anyone currently hand-tallying views in a spreadsheet at the end of a payout cycle.
Why all the farm language?
A campaign is a field, a creator you pay is a grower, and views earned inside the campaign window are yield. It is a naming scheme, not a gimmick — every term maps to one concrete thing in the product, and the plain word is always given alongside it.
Is it a website or an app?
The product is a desktop application that runs on the operator’s own computer. This website is the public information site, the legal pages, and the relay that catches the OAuth redirect during grower onboarding.
Does The Clip Farm pay creators?
No. It works out what is owed and exports a payout run as CSV. It never processes, holds or transfers money — the operator pays through whatever rail they already use.
Which platforms are supported?
TikTok and Instagram. Instagram requires a Business or Creator account, which is Meta’s restriction rather than ours.
Why does it need to refresh so often?
Platform APIs return current totals only, with no history. Each refresh writes a dated snapshot, and window yield is the difference between snapshots. Refresh frequency is therefore an accuracy setting.
Can a grower be paid for views they already had?
No. The baseline is the snapshot at or before the field’s start date, so only views earned inside the window count.
What happens when a field runs out of budget?
The budget is a fence. The engine allocates it in priority order until spent; clips that do not fit earn nothing, and the shortfall is shown as an uncapped "would-be" figure so you can decide whether to top up.
Can it post to my accounts?
No. Only read permissions are requested. There is no code path that posts, edits, deletes, messages, follows or reacts.
Where is my data stored?
On the operator’s own computer, encrypted at rest via the operating system’s secure storage. There is no central Clip Farm database.
Do you sell data or train models on it?
No. It is never sold, rented, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used for model training.
How does a grower revoke access?
From the platform’s own settings, at any time, without asking anyone. TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services. Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites.
How do I get my data deleted?
Use the data deletion request page, or email us. Removing a connected account in the app also deletes its stored profile, posts, snapshots and tokens immediately.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the private beta, and growers are free permanently. See Pricing.
Is The Clip Farm affiliated with TikTok or Meta?
No. It is an independent third-party tool that uses the official public APIs. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either company.
Is there a mobile app?
No. The operator tool is desktop only. Growers need nothing installed — they authorise in a browser and that is the entire interaction.
